Initiatives and Stories：
With COVID-19 and so many difficulties, there hasn’t been an opportunity
for good teambuilding. Everyone does a good job, but we felt that
something was missing to bring the NICCA family together as “One NICCA.”
NUS decided to form a team to plan small events and activities outside of
work to promote teambuilding. We proposed each event and a small
budget to the leadership for approval.

departments. Really promotes
“One NICCA” spirit.
Appeal Point and Future Outlook
 Even activities such as Birthday Recognition NUS Future Plans
and Tanabata, which take <1 hour, have
brought everyone at NUS together.
 The team especially enjoys activities with
friendly competition such as Safety Day
which include teams and prizes and expands
our safety mindset.

allow us to talk with people we usually don’t 2022 3Q &
4Q • Christmas Cookie Exchange

 Enthusiasm has improved with each activity
and the question is “What’s next?” • Setsubun with Handrolled sushi
• Employees roll their own and eat in the direction of good fortune
 It’s extremely important as a family and a 2023 1Q

company to spend time encouraging the

team and each other.
 This togetherness helps us be more
productive, stay safe, and retain happy
employees!
 We hope to continue these small and simple
activities for “One NICCA” spirit.
• 35th anniversary, Cherry Tree planting (together)
• Propose some money in 2023 budget to clean up old cherry tree stumps and get
2023 2Q saplings
• And so forth with more events like in 2022, including 3rd annual Safety day on 3/10!
