1 Homework
 What are the demands of writing in college (what does it entail?)? writing
in college could be somewhat difficult due to the requirements, but there
are some simple ways to progress towards college writing. Being open-
minded would be to think outside the box and think about the different
possibilities of how you can write the paper. Creativity is also an important
thing because there is always different things you can use to approach a
paper and to go out of your comfort zone.
 What is the basic process of communicating with readers? To emphasize
the main goal of what they are looking for and to keep them interested in
the theme of your writing that has them hearing you.
 How do you get readers to take you seriously?  The easiest for your
readers to take you seriously would be to talk in an informative tone about
something drastic that happened in history like the 9/11 attack.
Reflect activity:
Think about a writing task you’ve recently been assigned or you’re working on
now. Which of the habits of mind have you used? I’ve used the habit of writing
more concrete and more understandable so that the person reading can
understand well.
And which ones are missing? I am missing the habit of writing more complex
sentences that make the paper look better.
Which habits of mind seem to come most naturally to you and which do you
need to develop? I really get the habit of writing in a sequence form that I try to
make the sentence a little more different but continuing with the previous
sentence. I need to develop the use of more interesting words and punctuation to
make the writing more formal.
Is there a habit you could put to better use? The habit of searching up words to
make my writing better.
How will you do so next time? I will search on how to structure my sentences
and paragraphs so they don’t look sloppy.
