clinical practice, education and research. The learners are expected to use the system of
informatics to support the delivery of healthcare.

II. PERSONAL DIGITAL ASISTANT (PDA) – 20pts

 The 2 types of PDA that I choose are; Palm OS Units and Windows CE.
1. Model of the PDA
 Palm OS Unit is a discontinued mobile operating system initially developed by Palm, Inc.
for PDAs.
Windows CE is an operating system developed for Windows Embedded Devices.

2. Features of the PDA


 The features of Palm OS are;

 The features that are available and helpful with nurses are Wi-Fi connections, USB, and
Microsoft popular apps.

4. Elaborate its functions.


 Wi-Fi is a wireless technology used to connect computers, smartphones and other
devices. It translates the signal into data you can see and use.
USB used for storage, backup, data transfer between computers and for disseminating
product information.
Microsoft popular apps help with productivity and completing common tasks on a
computer. You can create and edit documents containing text and images.
