Writer’s Workshop: Editing

1) In your own words, what is the difference between proofreading and editing? Is revising
sentences to sound clear, specific, or changing phrases or words to sound more to
what is expected while editing is maybe adding comma or semicolon or a period
2) Find a sentence in your essay where the subject and verb do not agree and use it as an
example of how to fix the error? Due to being an urgency shelter employee going
through mental breakdowns and feeling overwhelmed with pushing themselves
things, they are obligated in order to keep their positions and it is to its very
frustrating situation for those going through in a daily basis.
3) List all the verbs in your first paragraph, identify tense do they all match? If not, which
ones need change After three essays this semester, what are three grammar errors that
you make over and over? How can you make sure that you do not continue to make these
