The Boy Scout and the Girl Scout of Villacin Elementary School would like to ask permission from your
good office the holding of our BSP and GSP Joint Backyard Camping in our school starting on November 11
(we will start at 4:30 pm) to November 12, 2022. The purpose of this joint backyard camping activity is to
train the Boys the concept of character development, citizenship training and skills for self-reliance, thus
making them a good and productive citizen of our society.

II. RATIONALE:
Scouting helps young boys develop one’s character. The program provides enjoyable way of learning
about God, Country and Fellowmen.
Scouting affords training for leadership with meaningful and exciting activities outdoor and indoor
activities. Pupils may learn doing things for themselves and other people. They may learn many skills to
prepare them to render services to others.
In line with this, we plan out to conduct BSP and GSP activities on November 11 and 12 with
compliance to IATF for COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines.
III. Objectives:
The program aims to train ___ boy scouts, ____ kab scouts and ____ kid scouts the concept of
character development, citizenship, training and skill for self-reliance making them a good and productive
citizen of our society.
