Natasha does a nice job of incorporating student interests when planning lessons. Her lessons meet the diverse needs of all of her students. Natasha is able to
adjust the pace of her lesson based on students understanding. She communicates regularly through the use of class dojo. Natasha will be conducting
parent/teacher conferences in November. She has the opportunity to collaborate with her grade level teammate weekly.

Natasha designs and delivers instruction that incorporates multiple learning styles. She is able to offer differentiation when needed. Natasha carefully observes her
students to determine what instructional strategies are most effective. She plans for students to listen, speak read and write throughout the school day in both
Spanish and English. Natasha will often use short educational videos and student computers to enhance learning.

Natasha's learning environment is very well managed. You can tell that the students understand what is expected of them. She designates appropriate amounts of
time for learning activities and incorporates short partner discussions. Natasha is teaching a diverse group of students and she is very respectful of their different
cultural background. The fact that she is bilingual is extremely beneficial to her students.

Prior to reading an informative text on earthquakes, the students completed a class KWL chart and watched a short educational video. This allowed them to link any
prior knowledge and familiar concepts. Natasha utilizes supplemental resources such as books, educational videos, white boards, hands on activities and computers
to enhance learning. She provided time throughout her recent ELA students to listen and respond using the introduced academic vocabulary. Examples include:
earthquake, active, local, sand, property, explode, solid, island and earth.

Natasha helped guide her students in applying their content knowledge of earthquakes to the real world including ones that have happened near her school in California. She allows
students many opportunities to share the different opinions and perspectives with partners as well as the whole class.

Natasha uses assessments that are directly aligned with learning outcomes. Her cooperating teacher has shared with me that she understands how to analyze data
as a way to group students appropriately, drive future instruction and track progress. Natasha assesses learning in a variety of ways to make sure all students
understand the content. She is able to modify assessments based on student needs such as language differences or a learning disability.

Natasha coaches her students as they practice new skills. She offers a lot of feedback and praise. Natasha observes her students practicing and collaborating with
others on new learning. She presented a clear focus at the beginning of her lesson. Natasha did a nice job of modeling and instructing students on the critical
reading strategy SMART as a way to improve comprehension of informative text. She poses questions throughout her lessons to keep students curious and to
promote deeper thinking.

Natasha uses formative and summative assessments, as well as classroom observations to group students and to drive instruction. She is able to set new goals for
her students as they make progress. Natasha's cooperating teacher has shared with me that she is very reflective in her teaching practices. She welcomes all
feedback and is quick to implement suggestions.

Natasha has built a strong learning community within her classroom. The students are attentive and not afraid to make mistakes. She also meets regularly with her
grade level team and attends all staff meetings.

I believe Natasha understand the impact she has on student learning. This is demonstrated by her analyzing of assessment data as well as her willingness to put in the time to create
engaging lessons that meet the needs of all of her students. Natasha also demonstrates this through her daily reflection of her lessons.
