LESSON PROPER

ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION OF DECIMALS

Adding and subtracting whole numbers are quite easy, how about if it involves decimals?
In adding or subtracting decimals, we need to align the decimal points. Make the number
of decimal places the same by adding zeroes. Then, add or subtract just like whole numbers.
We can also estimate the sum and difference of decimals by rounding off the decimal
numbers to the highest place value.
