PROLOGUE

SCENE I
(bell rings)
(teacher leave the class)
Class Rep: Guys?? Can I have your attention just for a minute, Please? Makinig muna
kayo, I have an important announcement to dissiminate.
: Okay, So guys, for the information of everybody, magkakaroon ng dance
competition that will be conducted next 2 weeks. And our Department
head look forward to our performance as our department is the defending
champion. Kailangan natin gawin ang 200% best natin to make our seniors
and department head proud and continue their legacy.
Class rep: I will send the video on our respective GC. Make sure to open ang practice
the steps. We will start our practice on Saturday.
(magreklamo ang all,chaotic class)

SCENE II

(Saturday)
*naga practice ang all while following the choreography on the video, pero wala ga sabay, literal
na chaos and practice.
Classmate 1: Ang Hirap
Classmate 2: paano ba yan? Di ko makuha?
Classmate 3: Pwede ba steps by steps?
Classmate 4: Can we change some steps? Mahirap yung sa Video.
Classmate 5: Class rep? pwede magstep by step ka? Di ko talaga ma gets
Class rep: Behhh, di ako marunong magturo and sumayaw. Baka, sana ikapanalo natin yun pa
ang reason na matalo tayo. HAHAHAHA
Classmate 5: Eh? Sino maglead kung ganun? Ang hirap ng ibang parts eh, di namin makuha yung
steps ang complicated.
Hope: I have a suggestion about choreography… can we change yung step from this to this so
that everyone can catch up?
Class rep: yeah yeah, actually it was a nice idea.
Class(everyone) : Agree
Class Rep: what if ikaw na kaya ang leader Hope. You have good ideas and you’re good dancer.
Hope: ha? Why me? Baka may gusto sa kanila wag lang ako. I know that they are a good dancer
too.
Classmate 6: hindi, ikaw na Hope kaya mo yan
Classmate 7: oo nga Hope.
Hope: talaga? Pero baka may gustong iba pa diyan.
Class Rep: Ikaw na Hope, ikaw na ang mag lead sa group.
(class agree)
Hope: sege na nga, but don’t expect too much. I will try my best na lang.
* Frankie nakatingin ng masakit kay Hope sa gilid.
SCENE III
(CONTINUATION OF PRACTICE)
(montage)
Hope: kaya ba ang ganitong steps for this part?
Classmate 1: medyu nahihirapan ako sa ganiyang step. Di ko carry yan.
Hope: ahh, sege sege. Guys, do you other suggestios sa part na to? Yung madadalian at
makakasunod ang lahat.
(from the corner of the line formation , a group of friend nundging one of their friend to raise
their hand)
Classmate 8: (slowly raises hand)
: uhhh… ganito kaya? 1 and 2 and 3 (demo the steps)
Hope: nice (Name)!
(sounding praises and agreements from the other people and (Name)’s Friend)
Classmate 8: *laughs* also, in this part of the routine, instead of straight line gawin natin siya
window window and shaped to a V? para mas magandang tingnan.
Hope: oh yes yes, tas ditto na part?
(slowly fades away ang voices and on to the next scene)
SCENE IV
*clap, clap, clap*
(lead clapping to the beat overseeing the group as they dance)
~reenactment scene~
[Lex be glancing at Hope waiting for her eyes to land on him so he can make a mistake. When her
eyes slowly turned to his way, he commence his plan]

Hope: Ah, Lex, halika muna
{ Lex who’s with Franki look at her direction and went to her. Frank went too}
Lex: yes Hope?
Hope: parang nahirapan ka sa isang part ng dance, gusto mo turuan kita ngayon?
Lex: Honestly, Yes, medyo nahihirapan talaga ako sa part nay un *chuckles* Papaturo ako
pero hindi ka ba magbebreak?
Hope: Hindi muna, di pa naman rin ako gutom eh. So, gusto mo?
Lex: Ahhh, yes of--!
Frank: what if ako nalang ang magturo sakanya Hope? Tutal same naman lang ang
pinupuntahan namin during lunch, breaks and after class eh.
Hope: oh, pwede naman—
Lex: No, No, ikaw na magturo sa akin ngayon Hope, Okay lang. Frank, diba sabi mo gutom ka
na?
Mauna ka na muna, hindi ka pwedeng lipasan ng gutom baka magkasakit ka.
Frank: ha? Pero---
Lex: sege na, kailangan ko rin magpractice nito.
Frank: *sighs* okay fine.
{as frank walks out, the two start to practice}

SCENE V
Hope : tas ditto, step (demo) try mo daw
*steps*
Lex : Ga…. *steps*…. Nito?
Hope : yes! Nice. Last, from the start
{Both danced together, Lex the whole duration stared at her as she was busy
counting out loud}
Hope : Hoo… Now, try mo isayaw ng buo ang routine nay an. Pero without me
Lex : hala, sige sige *laughs*

{Lex danced perfectly leaving Hope staring at him in awe}

{During this time, slowly, people started entering the room. Some looking at Lex too
And in the background we see a girl looking tensed as she talks on her phone}
*Routine done and Lex stopped dancing mej tulala si gurl*
Hope : ah- Behhhh, galingggg LAUGHS Tinatago mo ata talent mo ehh
Lex : Di namann

{Here we see the girl in the back finished the call looking all problematic and looks at the leader.
Slowly deciding to approach her}

Hope : Pero seriously, ang galing! Baka hindi mo lang masyado nasundan noon dahil
nasa likod ka
Lex : Di mo sureee(AHHAHA)*looks at the girl behind Lead*

Girl : uhhmm, Hope? Pwede bang mauna muna ako today? Nagkaproblema kasi sa
bahay.
Hope : Ah, is everything alright?
Girl : Hindi ko pa alam kung gaano kalala ang situation pero pinapauwi talaga ako
Hope : Sige langg, mauna kanaa. Chat mo lang ako for updates para masabihan rin kita
at maturuan if ever there are changes haa.
Girl : Yes, thank youu. Bawi ako next practice
Hope : Halonggg

{NEXT MORNING}
Lead received a chat from Gurl in school saying that she would need to back out because of the
serious trouble in her house(PS: I can't think of an adequate reason or problem)
Lead asks if everything is going smoothly and agreed and reassured that her backing out is fine as
she has more serious problems.

In practice later that day, she announced to everyone that Girl will be backing out because of
reasons and received various reactions.

Suplada 1: Weh? Baka plot lang niya yan para di siya makasali. Baka natakot after you said
na we need to practice starting tomorrow under the sun para malaki ang space.
Sana sinabi niya naylamg na tinatad siya
Suplada 2: LAUGHS
Hope : Let us all respect her situation right now, okay? Hindi natin alam kung ano ang
pinagdadaan niya ngayon kaya wala tayong pwedeng or karapatan na
sumbatan siya ng ganyan.
Suplada 1: K, whatever. Gosh

Hope : Okay, let's move on and start our practice for today. Okay guys?
Class : Yes
Hope : Nice, first formation please!

{NEXT SCENE AFTER PRACTICE}

Hope : Wonderful work everyone! Complete na ang ating routine, polishing nalang
tayo for the rest of our practice. Kaunting push nalang! Yun lang, and yung bayad nga
pala sa t-shirt natin, please be reminded that tomorrow is the deadline. Yun lang guys,
let's all go home na .

{Huli umalis si Hope. When she got out, the suplada 1&2 is nasa CR which was beside the stairs.
She overhead them talking shit about her}

Suplada 1: She's just nobody, and now after getting the leader role in she thinks she's at
the top. She's so obnoxious it makes my blood boil.
Suplada 2: Probably just wants some attention. Sighs losers will be loser.
Frank: True, sinabi niyo pa. She's just an attention seeker for all we know. Tignan niyo,
maggigive up rin yan.
(LAUGHS)

{Lead went home looking stressed}

SCENE VI
{Camera shots. Lead looking stressed with acads throughout the day and during practice}
(Sa cam shot sa start. May shot na makita parin si Lead tas may ga say ng(si Lex pero di ipakita
ang mukha oero mejhalata na siya) "After ng competition, magaask ako ng permission
mangligaw. Iba natalaga -" pero yung sound para!g distant ang tunog)

{Received worried looks from a collective few}

Hope: Okay. This ends our practice for today, good-bye

Everyone scurries away

{Lex looking at Hope}

Frank: Tara na Lex. May naiwan ka ba?
Lex: Ah, wal wala. Kamustahin ko muna si Lead.
Frank: Wag na, ano ka niya? Bf? Nako, tara ba, hinihintay na tayo ni Marish
Lex: Sige

{Hope exited the room and went to the bench (Maraming ring dalang papers). Look tired.
People from the other group saw her and went to her}

Other 1: Hi, Hope right?

Hope: Yes po
Other1: ikaw yung leader ng dance sa BSA no?
Hope: Opo
Other 1: Uh, we actually see you often
{{Camera works, reenactments}}
looking tired and struggling with all the work that pilled up for you. It may sound a bit suspicious
but, would you like to join our team instead?
{{Back to the scene}}
: Don't take it the wrong way; we are just trying to help a fellow student out. Your other
classmates acted so ungrateful to you the other day. So now I'm offering you to leave that
group to have some peace for yourself.

Hope: (other 1) right? Thank you very much for your concern and offer but.... I'll stick with
them. This is just part of what a leader would face, not everyone will agree with me and for
that, I'll
strive to be a better one. Kinuha ko itong role na ito willingly- well, yes mejo napilit ako
at first,but it was still entirely my choice to continue on as their leader. If i leave them now, mas
magiging masama ang tingin saakin ng mga taong ayaw saakin. All i can do now is prove
my worth and do what i can to lead my groupmates. Also, i cannot let the people who trusted
in me down, they believed in me and so i will too.
Other 1: Chuckles Very well. I'll respect your decision and will no longer push it. But if
you do need advice or support that we can offer, feel free to ask us or your friends. (PS:
Subject for change💀)

Hope: Thank you

{Frank, who was going to a teacher's office overheard all the conversation of the two and had a
change of heart about Hope}
SCENE VII
Lead: Na setup na ba yung props sa likod ng area? Usap with some team
Class Rep: Okay guyss, ready na ba ang all? Malapit na mag start, tayo na sunod jan sa group na
nagpeperform!
Hope: Ang props niyo, complete na ba? Check niyo na lahat before tayo mag start. KAYA NATIN
TO GUYS! HATAWWW!

AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER

{Cam shots of all of them celebrating(Slowmo yarn). Lex appoaching lead with a smile and Frank
seeing that scene just looked away and everyone is happy}

Hope: That was how my experience in my first year college like. Nakakastress ang acads and
yung mga pinagsabay na events pero WORTH IT kapag in-enjoy ko talaga ying moment. Hindi
naman parating study lamg amg college baka mahulog sanity. Well, di rin yun excuse
para magpabaya ha. All I'm saying is, yes masyadong busy and maraming breakdown
moments sa college pero it's how you look at it and handle your time.

Junior: Pero atee, anong nangyari sa mga nag suplada sayo noon?
Hope: Eto, katabi ko ngayon and isa.
Frank: Wag kayong maniwala jan, di kami friends, duhh
Hope: LAUGH Hayaan niyo na yan, gamyan lang talaga magmahal yan.
Junior: Very di pahalata kuya ha *chuckles*
Sige ate, i-aaccept ko nalang yung offer saakin na maglead. Para si rin bawiin yung talent
na binigay ni Lord saakin LAUGH
Hope: Sus, kaya mo yan, ikaw pa!
Junior: Opo! Nga pala ate, matanong ko nga
Hope: Hmm?
Junior: Yung lalaki na tinuruan mo noon? What happened to him ? Tingin na may samting
Hope: Laugh Ikaw haa, tinuruan ka ni kuya mo Frankie na tanungin yan no??
Frank: Oh My God, leave my fabulous name out of this
Junior: Laugh Secrettt. So ano nanga atee, saan na siyaa
Hope: Kayo talaga nako. LAUGH

Lex: Hope~ Nanjan na sina mama, hinihintay na tayo.
Hope: Ah! Nanjan ka na pala love(PS: 🤣)
Junior: LOVE? WAHHHH
Hope: HAHAHAH OO, after ng competition, niligawan niya ako and ngayon engaged na
Junior: Lupit atee- este Kuya Lex, lupittt HAHAHAHAHAHA
Lex: Approved ba?
Junior: SUPER PO! INVITE AKO SA KASAL
Hope: Oo naman HAHAHAHHA O sha, una na kami ha. Frankie, wag kang magsabi ng kung ano
ano sa pinsan mo
Frank: Malalaman HAHAHHAHA
Hope: Loko ka HAHAHHAA
