In social learning theory, Albert Bandura (1977) agrees with the behaviorist
learning theories of classical conditioning and operant conditioning.
However, he adds two important ideas:
1.Paying Attention
- Being focused on the task at hand becomes the first step for retaining
the information and getting to acquire the knowledge.
2.Retention
- how well that behaviour is remembered.
3.Reproduction
- having observed, paid attention to and remembered the
behaviour/task, we should be able to perform it ourselves.
4.Motivation
- Motivation could be considered one of the most important principles of
the social learning theory;
