At the end of the lesson, 90% of the students will be able to:
a. analyze our body parts and their functions;
b. recognize that our body is wonderfully made by God;
c. construct ideas how our body should be holy and pleasing before the Lord; and
d. realize that God made our body to worship Him and give Him glory and honor.

 The students will sing the song “When I look” – a song about why God made us
and everything we see.

1. According to the song, who made us?
2. Can you tell me your body parts?
3. Did you know that God carefully made everything in you?
4. Did you know that God made your body to worship and honor Him?

c. Abstraction:
 The students and the teacher will analyze the internal and external parts of a
person.
 The students will share how these body parts function.
 The teacher will make the students understand that our body is made to give
God glory.

pleasing.”

c. recognize that being a good example glorifies God; and
d. be aware that our conduct must be pure and right to please God.

a. Activity/Motivation (Establishing the purpose of the lesson):

 The teacher will facilitate a game called “Message Relay” wherein the students
have to copy the actions of the facilitator and relay them to his/her members.

Mechanics:

 The teacher will group the class into 3 groups.


 The teacher will act an action to be copied by the representative each group.
 At a given signal, the representative will relay the action given to his/her group
mates who are falling in line.
 The group who relayed the most accurate action will be the winner.

b. Analysis:

3. What is the hardest part of the game?

c. Abstraction:
 Timothy is a follower of Apostle Paul and a faithful believer of Jesus
Christ. Paul told Timothy to become an example or a model follower of
Christ. Paul wrote, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are
young. Set an example for other believers in speech, life, love, faith, and
purity. Keep on reading the Word of God everyday and teach others what
you have learned. Watch your life so that everyone may see your
progress.

Bible Verse: Proverbs 20:11 “The good or bad that children do shows what they are like.”

Prayer to recite:

Our Most Gracious and Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord for the story of Timothy in the Bible. Help me to act in the right way so that
I can be an example to others.
