Direction: Solve the following problem.

Exercise 1: Estimate the number of breaths taken by an 80 year old human.

Exercise 2: Say you read a news article that a man carries a billion Pesos worth of gold, give
an estimate of how heavy is the gold he carries ( use market price of gold ).
Exercise 3: Give the order of magnitude of how many tennis ball would fit in an Olympic size
pool

equinox, is the basis for our calendar. It contains 365.242199 days. Find the number of
seconds in a tropical year.

Exercise 5: Give an order of magnitude of the number of an average size Filipino that would
fit along EDSA.
