Answer 1 : peer to peer network

Step 1 : first we have to open cisco packet tracer

Step 2 : then we have to take 2 computer for peer to peer connection

Step 3 : then connect the two pc by using crossover cable

Step 4 :now the step to provide ip address to both computer

Step 5 : click PCD-destop-IP

Step 5 : now click on simulation we can see our network is setup :

Question :

1. Star topology with hub ;

Step 1 : first we take a hub

Step 2 : take four computer and connected it by straight cables

Step 3 . Now give the ip address to each pc

Step 4 :transfer message from one device to another
 Step 5 : now after simulation we can see message is transfer to all devices

2. Ring topology by using switches

Step 1 :take four switches

Step 2 : then take 4 computer

Step 3 : then connect it by cables

Step 4. Now give the ip address to each computer

Step 5:now assign message to any one pc and drag the pdu to destination pc

Step 6 : now go to simulation and run

Now we can observe there is a major differences in hub and switch

HUB:
1. Floods the network due to broadcasting
2. Has no memory

Switches
1.can do unicasting , multicasting and broadcasting

2.has memory and stores MAC address table
