    ROAD MAPPING AT CHAINAGE 5+700 AT MACHAKOS KATUMANI (B60) ROAD.

    Refrence is made to the above subject

    In line with the Asset Protection Work Plan, we scheduled to undertake Public Sensitization
    Meetings along Embu - Kanyonyo (A9) road. The exercise was conducted from 6 th to 12th June,
    2022.

    OBSERVATION/GRIEVANCES

    During the exercise we realized that the road reserve is demarcated at 20M from the center line
    leaving a corridor of 40M.
    At the plot of which the complaint does not have Edge Marker Posts.

    WAY FORWARD

    We propose that more sensitization meetings be programmed in order to inform the public of the
    essence of protecting the road reserve

    The area chiefs need to be empowered with further information so that they can disseminate it in
    their barazas.

    Please find attached the list of attendees and photos of various public meetings held.
