Covid 19 In My Area

The corona virus outbreak is one of the hotly discussed issues in all circles of society

today, especially in my village. How not, because this disease attacks almost all parts of the

world. Quoted from various sources, this virus first appeared in China, precisely in the city of

Wuhan. There is no need to take distant examples because one of the countries affected by this

epidemic is our own country, namely Indonesia. And also has spread to various regions from the

center to remote areas. The village where I live is also affected by this epidemic.

The local government's effort in dealing with this is by implementing the

implementation of community activity restrictions (PPKM).

Based on data from kemkes.go.id, covid19.go.id, BNPB, etc. (see Source List), until

Monday (9/5/2022) at 18:01:07, the number of people who were positively infected with

COVID-19 throughout Mamasa District (where I live) has reached 2,039 people.

Meanwhile, 22 people died due to the corona virus, and 5 were active positive (still being

treated), and 2,012 people were declared cured.

Until now, the government is still trying to overcome this disaster.

Which is the center for the treatment of covid 19 in my area, located in all health centers in the

Mamasa area and also hospitals in Mamasa, and some are doing personal quarantine at their

respective homes. So that people are still encouraged to continue to maintain health protocols by

always washing their hands after carrying out activities, wearing masks when leaving the house

and always keeping their distance and avoiding crowds so that this outbreak can soon pass.
