1.6 Materials
The materials required for executing the work are tabulated below:

Item Material Manufacturer Purpose

1 Comix Latex Comix For surface preparation
2 Congrout-GP Comix Apply to the repairing area
NOTE: Strength of mixed material must be equal or exceed design strength of structure.

1.7 Organization, Responsibility and Supervision

Item Plan/Equipment Quantity Responsibility
1 Site Engineer 1 To responsible for the day activity
To advise for health & safety aspects in the job as per
2 Safety Officer 1 standard safety requirements prior to start o work daily. His
recommendations will be complied with at all times
3 QC Engineer / Inspector 1 To conduct inspections and monitor the required tests
4 Technical Engineer 1 To do the induction work for the Site Dept
5 Supervisor / Foreman 1 Directly supervise the work on site
6 General Worker As required To carry out general work on site

2. WORK METHODOLOGY
2.1 General procedure and Requirement
1. Marking Out: According to the site requirement, marking out clearly the required pipe location, and to be
confirm by MEP. Size or hacking to offset from original size 25mm all around. If on the PT-slab, tendon
location shall be marked out in prior.
2. Protecting Work: Protect any falling material.
3. Rebar and tendon scanning: Use rebar scanning to detect and measure the depth of cover, diameter and
positioning over a wide area, then mark the locations of all rebar/tension on slab surface.
4. Hacking Work: Start hacking according to the marked location. During hacking, be aware of damaging
rebar/tendon).
5. Re-Constructing work: Install pipe the correct location, and fill high strength grout fully all around. (Subject
to MEP specification requirements).

2.2 Work methodology

6. After mark up the pipe location, rebar and tendon. Chipping around the pipe by 50-100mm offset according
to the size of pipe, and chipping as slope. Surface of chipping concrete must be rough for well connection
between existing concrete and grouting. Chip and trim carefully to avoid damaging any rebar/tendon inside
concrete structure.
7. Install the pipe according to approval drawing. The pipe must be well fixing to be avoid of unstable and
moving during grouting or touching.
8. Prepare hanging formwork, filling the gap around pipe with high strength grout (Congrout-GP).
Clashing with rebar
- To cut the existing rebar inside, in case of the pipe location clashing with rebar, can’t avoid or bend rebar.
- Cut the rebar and bend up/down and tie/weld properly together and add the additional rebar to enforce the
pipe and rebar connection.
- Install the pipe at the correct location (Subject to MEP detail requirements).
- Prepare hanging formwork system, filling the gap around pipe with high strength grout (Congrout-GP).

Incase damage rebar
- Scanning and mark the damage rebar
- Cutting and chip the concrete along damage rebar
- Cut the damage rebar and tie/weld together properly with the additional rebar
- Apply bounding agent (Latex) to the receiving surface
- Apply mixed high strength grout (Congrout-GP).

2.3 Cleaning work

- Packaging all debris and deliver to the site rubbish stock area for disposal.
- Watering to reduce the flying dusty.

3. SAFETY ASSURANCE MEASURES

3.1 Overall goal of the security management
The overall goal of the project safety management is to achieve safety and no accident. Specifically:
a. To eliminate any personal casualties;
b. To prevent the occurrence of equipment accidents;
c. To eliminate the occurrence of fire accidents;
d. To avoid other construction projects to affect their own safety;
e. Eliminate their own safety impact on other construction projects.

3.2 HSE Policy

a. Safety First Prevention
b. Focus on health protection environment
5|Page

c. Strengthen the basic Process control
d. Full participation in continuous improvement
e. Under the guidance of HSE policy, we should continuously strengthen the HSE management of production
and operation activities, comprehensively improve the risk control and accident prevention ability, and
strive for the target of 0 accidents, 0 injuries and 0 pollution.

3.3 Safety Education Training

a. The aim of safety education and training is to enhance the consciousness of safety production of each
functional department and post personnel, to master the knowledge of safety production, to prevent unsafe
behavior effectively and to reduce human error, so that the construction is carried out in a safe and
controlled state.
b. Develop project safety training plan. In different stages of testing, the safety training plan should be
formulated in a timely manner.
c. The object of safety training and education is to participate in the project inspection of all personnel
d. The main contents of safety training education are safety management system and safety operation rules.
e. The safety technology should be given before the inspection operation.

3.4 Safety and qualification for construction

a. Comply with the relevant safety requirements as to site arrangement/layout of equipment/plant, material
stockpile, fabrication/assembly yard, toilet, washing bay, drainage system, office, etc.
b. Qualified construction, coordination, and actively cooperate with the construction staff of the relevant
construction units to ensure normal construction.
