How can you help in nation-building? When I was in junior high, I experienced something
like nation-building. That's why I've come up with a

Ang Misyon Ko: Reality Check

As a student in this pandemic, I can't stop myself from worrying about how I'll be in the future or ten
years from now. I get extreme anxiety when the pandemic changes everything, but actually, sometimes I
feel more comfortable in this zone. I always teach myself what else I can do, but friends tell me that
there's nothing I can't do. That makes me want to work harder in the future to achieve the success I
desire. Every lesson every day makes me better and do better.

Processing Questions:

1. What was your experience while writing your personal mission statement? How will you be able
to fulfill it? What may hinder you from not being able to fulfill it?
 I'm good while making my personal mission statement. I've fulfilled it by summarizing
my answer in the given table. I've made it more contextual and inspirational for those
who want to read it.
2. Is the mission statement of the person or member of the organization you interviewed related to
your personal mission statement? What are the similarities?
 Yes, it relates so much because he/she is a high school teacher, which is what I also want
to be. Mostly, the similarities are in the vision and mission of doing the job, which is to
serve and inspire the public and students to change the unwanted cultural society.
3. Do you think your personal mission statement can contribute to national development? In what
way?
 Yes, of course. The nation-building I did is to serve the public by having good and
responsible leadership. This one thing will make a better community by having a good
role model for everyone.

Reflection:

How will I connect my personal mission statement to fulfill our group mantra/my mantra?

In doing mantra, I usually relate what I think the topic is all about. And the topic I chose is, "There's
nothing you can't do." It encouraged me more in my personal mission statement because it motivates
me to continue what I am doing right now. Don't limit myself for any reason, as long as there's no bad
thing affecting another person. Pursue your dreams while doing so, and prepare yourself for the
improvements that you will require for success.
