Introduction a. Executive Summary (Indicate the Narrative Report)

The school-based 2022 Pambansang Buwan at Araw nag Pagbasa

Program is a very positive step in encouraging students' real love of
reading as well as their full awareness and comprehension of how
reading and literacy aid our students develop critical thinking. With that,
Ma'am Honey Bee G. Banagan, the reading coordinator of Sinoropan
National High School, led the students together with the other teachers,
and it was approved by the supportive school head, Sir Laryson F.
Bagumbay.

Teachers are urged to devote their time and efforts to keeping

Sinoropan NHS students interested in creative learning and giving them
a platform to showcase their abilities and passion for reading. In
addition to that, according to the guidelines set forth in DepEd Order
(DO) No. 9, s.2005, Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On
Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith and DO 34, s.2022, School
Calendar and Activities for School Year 202-2023, the Sinoropan
National High School successfully conducted the various suggested and
other related activities each Friday from 1:00 to 2:30 in the afternoon as
you can read it below.

• November 7, 2022 – School-Based Kick-Off

2022 Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa with the Student
Readers by grade level and was held during the flag raising
ceremony.

• November 11, 2022 - Spelling Bee (Grade 7 to 10)

• November 11- Reading Ambassador Time
Every Friday from 1: 00 o clock to 2:30 pm, teacher Sheryl Mae
A. Cristobal and Honey Bee G. Banagan, the reading
ambassadors, read stories appropriate to the students’ grade
levels.
• November 18,2022-Quiz Bowl(Grade 7-10)
• November 7-25, 2022 – Reading Challenge
Daily Reading Activity (Classroom-based)
All teaching and non-teaching personnel were enjoined to hold
the Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) at 10:30 AM every day.

• November 7-25, 2022 – 100 Pictures to Tell
