Word count 1,200 Maximum

Assignment Written coursework, answering 5 questions to be released 7 days before the

type deadline.

Assignment The questions are designed to test your knowledge and understanding of the
structure, concepts taught in class and covered in the reading. In order to pass this
format and assignment, you MUST have completed all of the essential reading, and at
details least one ‘recommended reading’ per week. You will not be able to ‘guess’
the answers to these questions.

The maximum total word count for this assignment is 1,200 words. I
therefore suggest you aim to answer each question in around 200 words.
Please use in-text citations, and include a list of references at the end of your
work (the list of references will not be included in your word count). You
must use the Harvard Referencing System. If you are unsure how to cite
correctly, please see here: http://www.citethemrightonline.com/

Each question can be answered with reference to at least one reading from
the reading list, information presented in-class, and your own knowledge
and understanding. Please ensure you have carefully read the marking
guidelines available on MyLearning, so that you understand what is required
for top marks.

The answers are in the reading and the lectures. If you do not refer to the
reading from the reading list, or use other sources instead, you will fail.
You must refer to the reading from the reading list for this module.

Preparation
Although the questions for this assignment are not released until 7 days before the deadline,
you will have ample opportunity to prepare for this assignment with the worksheets you are
asked to complete as homework and discuss in class. If you complete the worksheets, and get
feedback from me and your classmates, you will have a good understanding of how do get top
marks. The questions in the worksheets are designed to be similar in structure and topic to
those in the final assignment.
