Sinugba Festival has made a name of its own — from a simple grilling event to
commemorate the founding anniversary of our great town to being a fusion of activities that
highlight the talent, diversity, and resiliency our people. Since its inception, the festival has
been known for the its innovations, adaptability, and its power to magnet Midsayapenyos
from all walks of life. Through the years, we have showcased what is truly ours — abundant
local produce, dynamic people, and a vibrant local economy.

While the pandemic has toned down our festivities for years, in 2022, we opt to bring back
what our people deserves. It has not been easy to mount a celebration this big. But under
the leadership brand of Pagbangon and Pagbabago, we present Sinugba Festival 2022
under the theme “Ibalik ang Saya sa Bayang Maunlad at Nagkakaisa”. Our collective
aspiration to bring back the joyful spirit of our people has become my inspiration to lead this
Municipality towards our united and strong resolve for inclusive and sustainable
development.

As we celebrate these good times together, let us be inspired moving forward towards the
achievement of our goals. 86 years it has been. Times that have made us strong and will
continue to mold us to be stronger as long as we are together!
