The Relationship of Purchasing power parity (PPP) with the present economy of Bangladesh for

measuring the living standard.

There is a relationship between Purchasing power parity and Standard of living with economy. It
depends on life expectancy, Per capita income, Gross domestic product, purchasing power of parity.

per capita income and GDP increases the economy of Bangladesh. When Per capita income and Nominal
GDP increase, Purchasing power parity increases. if PPP increases, Standard of living will be increased.

We can calculate GDP in PPP method,

GDP = Nominal GDP/ PPP exchange rate

It indicates the economy of Bangladesh. Bangladesh people life expectancy rate is 72.8 years, per
capita income 2593 US dollar, GDP rate 8.2%. Bangladesh economy is good but present inflation rate is
increasing. It is bad for Bangladesh.

Per capita income increases, Purchasing power parity increases. GDP increases, Purchasing power parity
increases. If PPP increases, standard of living increases. Bangladesh economy also develops. So, there
is a positive relationship between PPP with economy of Bangladesh for measuring living standard.

In which sectors a student can give importance as future prospects for the development of the
country as a prime minister or finance minister.

As a prime minister or finance minister, I can give importance on Human resource development as
future prospects for the development of the country.

Bangladesh has huge population but it is a burden. If I can make the population into human resources,
The economy of Bangladesh will be developed. As a prime minister, I will invest the huge population. If
I invest human resources , I think, I will earn profit. It develops our country.

For developing human resource, Some steps must be taken:

1. Education:
As a prime minister, I must give people proper education facilities. it makes people educated.
Education changes people’s mind, attitude, and behave. It develops our country.
2. Training:
I shall invest in training for the population. proper training makes the people proper
professional. I will deploy the trainer for training. It upgrades the people . It makes people
expert.
3. Skill Development:
I must develop the skill of population. It will give training and proper facilities, people can
achieve communication, analytical, environment management skills etc. It make people human
resources.
4. Leadership training
 Leadership training gives the population knowledge, skill, supervision, communication,
motivation skills. people can develop the economy of Bangladesh.
5. Strategic Change
I must change the systems, cultures, technology, workplace. I will also change emotions,
perception and attitudes of people. It will develop the human resources.

If human resources develops, it develops GDP, Per capita income, PPP, Standard of living of Bangladesh.
So, human resources development develops our economy of the country.
