How was your experience last semester?

Samantha: How are you, Naomi? Long time no see!

Naomi: Yeah, I’m fine dear. What about you?
Samantha: I’m fine, too.
Naomi: That’s good to know! Tell me, how did your last semester go?
I mean, did you have any problems with your virtual courses?
Samantha: Oh, thanks for asking. It was good. In fact, it was better than last term!
First of all, the schedule was perfect for me. You know, I was working part time at
a law office, so it was easier than last term to balance my time between my studies and
work. Also, my tutor was great. He helped me lot and solved all my doubts about using
Canvas, zoom, etc.
Naomi: Lucky you! I didn’t have the same experience with it!
Samantha: Why? What happened? What was your last semester like?
Naomi: I really had a hard time on my last term, because I was working, and
I didn’t have enough time to do any homework.
I fell behind with my studies. That’s why I took a break last year.
Samantha: Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.
Naomi: Don’t worry! Here go again. I’m taking more courses than last year. But I’m
working fewer hours than before. Thank goodness, I kept up with technology!
Samantha: I’m glad to hear that! So, what courses are you taking this term?
Naomi: I'm taking English, Literature and Psychology.
Samantha: Great! We’re taking the same courses this term, then.
Naomi: Really? It’s great to hear that!
