Dear E. C. Glass Family,

I have been a proud Hilltopper since I arrived at E. C. Glass High School in 1999, and it has
been my true honor to serve you over the years. As I always like to do, I want to keep you
informed and let you know that at the conclusion of this school year, and after 33 years in
public education, I have decided to retire.

As I think about my years here, it is difficult to pinpoint just one memory that stands out. From
the first day of school, successes on the athletic field, the outstanding performances on our
stage, to the graduation ceremonies, what I will remember the most is you—our students,
families, faculty, and staff. I feel honored to have worked with you.

I want to express my gratitude to the students, teachers, staff, and E. C. Glass community.
You are my family. It is a joy walking into the building on a daily basis, working side by side
with you. I have grown as an educator and as a human being through the interactions and
discussions we have had, and it’s an honor to be a part of the Hilltopper family—now and
always.

Over the coming months, until Graduation in the spring, I will enjoy every last moment I have
here at Glass. Though I will deeply miss my time here, I am excited to cheer on our students
from the sidelines and look forward to the continued success of E. C. Glass High School.
