LESSON PLAN AUGUST

Value: FRATERNITY :teacher will ask about how do they live the fraternity in their
home? Students socialize the anwers with the rest of group.
Self- assessment and co-assessment: Teacher will paste the rubric in order to
evaluate themselves and their process using some ítems given by teacher, then
teacher will ask them about their learning process and behavior to make their
aware about their process
 Teacher will socialize the topic, competence and performances for the third
period and students will paste it in their notebook.

REINFORCEMENT ACTIVITY FROM AUGUST 3rd TO 11th : Teacher will show


them two pictures and they will pick up just one. Then they will have to answer in
their notebooks questions such as:
 What is that?
 What color is it?
 Where is this object? Next to …… ? in front …….. ? (preposition of places)
 What is she or he doing?
 What is she or he wearing?
 Do you like …………………? Food vocabulary
NOTE: In this lesson, teacher will socialize with students their grades.
TOPIC: PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
GRAMMAR: HAVE GOT / HAS GOT
STARTERS VOCABULARY: OPPOSITIES ADJECTIVES (thin- fat, tall- short –
long , big – small, curly- straight- wave, handsome- beautiful- ugly, hair, eyes,
nose, hands, ears, foot , mouth, shoulders, knee, mustache.)
V: Students will listen and watch videos relate to opposite adjectives and body
parts such as: BIG- SMALL, TALL- SHORT) among others,

movements according to the song, then teacher will show them some adjectives in
the computer and students will have to find the opposite. At end they will create a
comparative chart or Pictionary in their notebooks using vocabulary practiced
before.
C-D: teacher will introduce physical appearance topic Foster students discussion
about their favorite famous character or super hero, so teacher will ask them how
does their super heroes look like?. Meanwhile she is sharing some images in the
computer. After that, teacher will show them a power point presentation in which
she will describe some physical descriptions of some animated movie character
such as : SHREK, FIONA, FORK,ELSA among others. Teacher will describe
those characters using grammar (have got and has got) and vocabulary learnt in
previous WEBQUEST. Teacher will explain the difference between have got / hast
got) using simple examples, students will write the information in their notebooks.
AM: Students will watch more examples about how to describe a character by
means of power point presentation, and at the end, some students will write some
descriptions in their notebooks using images given by teacher.
AP: Students will develop reading, listening and writing activities according
instructions given by teacher in the WEBQUEST 7.
H5: Students will practice: STARTER EXAM through some activities created by
teacher in the WEBQUEST.

TOPIC: PLACES AND TRANSPORT


STARTERS VOCABULARY: TIME EXPRESSION ( birthday, clock, day, end,
evening, Morning, night, today, watch.)

in different places of the school images regarding to common places that you can
find in a city and also some means of transport,, so students will walk outside
classroom guided by teacher looking for images, during the tour teacher will ask
about vocabulary and they will answer, at the end they will create a pictionary with
the vocabulary learnt in the tour.

introduce topic and new vocabulary about time expression using a short story
about a Little girl who is lost in a big city, teacher will use a puppet and images to
catch students attention, then students will write the story in their notebooks and
look for unknown vocabulary in order to understand it.

AM: Teacher will ask students about vocabulary learnt previously using some
images, then she will check students’ Reading comprehension Foster discussion
about some ituations of the story. At the end some students will draw some
situations on the borad.
AP: teacher will apply a quiz and a worksheet to check vocabulary and Reading
comprehension, also students will develop some activites in their notebooks.
