Topic #2: Do you help at home?


Grammar: Present continuous
Vocabulary: Household chores.
V: Students will listen and watch two videos in order to learn some household
chores vocabulary.

Then, they will play an online worksheet in which they will match and unscramble
the vocabulary learned in previous classes. Also, with a group game to guess the
household chore from an image shown.
C-D: Teacher will introduce the new topic, grammar and vocabulary, describing
herself doing some household chores or using student's answers, about their self
and household chores in his/her homes. Teacher will use phrases like:
* I am sweeping all the rooms in my house.
* Laura is making her bed.
At end, students will write the information in their notebooks. The grammar
explanation and examples.
AM: By groups, students will play a mimic or guessing game, with drawings and
role games doing some household chores from the vocabulary learned and using
the grammar structure learned too.
AP: My household chores activity: students will create a poster with a
decalogue about 10 household chores that they will promise do in their houses or
will can help to do. Later, they will talk about their decalogues and they should
paste them in a visible part of their homes.
