NOTE:

 Students will finish the application step of the last lesson plan due to teacher gave them
more examples and extra activities to reinforce the topic.
 Teacher will implement the following lesson plan in the online classes using Webquest

TOPIC: ANIMALS ABILITIES

GRAMMAR: CAN / CAN´T

VOCABULARY: ACTIONS VERBS

V: Students will play a game called “SIMON SAYS” in this game students will move according to
some teacher’s instructions. They will review the main actions such us: JUMP – RUN- SWIM- SIT
DOWN- TURN AROUND and STAND UP. But before developing this game student should create a
Pictionary drawing images regarding to main verbs. At the end they will watch a video called
“WHAT ANIMAL CAN DO?”

D-C: Teacher will explain new topic showing them some riddles with short descriptions like:

 This animal can run but, it can´t swim, also it is brown and big.

Teacher will use pictures and she will match the riddle with the correct animal. At
the end teacher ask them some questions about the topic. Additionally, they will
write this information in their notebooks.

AM: Students will play a game called “GUESS THE ANIMAL” in this activity students will practice
vocabulary and the use of CAN / CAN´T, the idea is students guess the animal using what they
learned in the previous explanations.

AP: Students will describe different animal’s abilities in oral and written way making a mask in
order to do their oral presentation.

TOPIC: WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?

GRAMMAR: PRESENT CONTINUOUS – VERB: WEARING

VOCABULARY: CLOTHES AND WEATHER.

V: Students will choose a fancy character or famous person and they will dress up and make up
according to this character and teacher will organize an online parade describing each character
using grammar proposed before. Then they will watch a Maggie and Steve video regarding to

students make a Pictionary with vocabulary practiced before.
D-C: Teacher will introduce new topic, describing what is wearing a famous character according to
different kind of weather, teacher will use pictures to foster students’ understanding. At the end
they will write in their notebooks this information and answer some teacher’s questions.

AM: Teacher will show students some descriptions related to clothes and weather and they will
match the description with a picture, teacher will check students´ understanding asking them what
is wearing different people. Also she will clear doubts about topic and answer some questions.

AP: Students will express in oral and written way what are they wearing according to a specific
weather chosen by them. Students will get it, using the Webquest implement by teacher in the
online classes.
