Above are all components of the WADE assessment that I conducted with the student.

Overall,
his score reflected a 96% in sounds, a 74% in reading, and a 74% in spelling. On Reading Form
A, I stopped the student from reading at list 8 due to beginning to hit frustration level and the
number of words read correctly decreasing. The student read to List 3 of the nonsense words
until hitting complete frustration level with the list. The students' spelling results showed that
they struggled with silent double letters and ending sounds on words. He made it to the spelling
list three before hitting frustration level. I used the components of the WADE assessment to help
me determine where to start the student when administering the Qualitative Reading Inventory
assessment.
