(Verse 14 – 19) ‫سورۃ االعلی‬

‫قَ ْد‬ ‫بے شک‬ Certainly

 ‫َأ ْفلَ َح‬ ‫کامیاب ہوگیا‬ ‫‪Has succeeded‬‬

‫مَن‬ ‫جس نے‬ ‫)‪One (who‬‬

‫تَ َز َّك ٰى(‪)۱۴‬‬ ‫پاکیزگی اختیار کی‬ ‫)‪Purifies (himself‬‬

‫َو َذ َك َر‬ ‫اور ذکر کیا‬ ‫‪And remembers‬‬

‫َ‬
‫ٱسْم َربِّ ِهۦ‬ ‫اپنے رب کے نام کا‬ ‫‪(the) name (of) his Lord‬‬

‫ف‬
‫َصَلَّ ٰى(‪)۱۵‬‬ ‫اور نماز قائم کی‬ ‫‪And prays‬‬

‫بَلْ‬ ‫جبکہ‬ ‫‪Nay‬‬

‫تُْؤ ثِرُونَ‬ ‫تم ترجیح دیتے ہو‬ ‫‪You prefer‬‬

‫ْٱل َحيَ ٰوةَ ٱل ُّد ْنيَا(‪)۱۶‬‬ ‫دنیا کی زندگی کو‬ ‫‪The life(of) the world‬‬

‫َو ْٱلـَٔا ِخ َرةُ‬ ‫اور ٓاخرت‬ ‫‪While the Hereafter‬‬

‫َخ ْي ۭ ٌر‬ ‫بہتر ہے‬ ‫‪(is) better‬‬

‫َوَأ ْبقَ ٰ ٓى(‪)۱۷‬‬ ‫اور ہمیشہ‪/‬باقی رہنے والی ہے‬ ‫‪And everlasting‬‬

‫ِإ َّن‬ ‫بے شک‬ ‫‪Indeed‬‬

‫هَ ٰـ َذا‬ ‫یہ‬ ‫‪This‬‬

‫لَفِى‬ ‫میں ہے‬ ‫‪Surely (is) in‬‬

‫ُف ٱُأْلولَ ٰى(‪)۱۸‬‬

‫ٱلصُّ ح ِ‬ ‫پہلے صحیفوں میں‬ ‫)‪The Scriptures (the former‬‬

‫موسی کے صحیفوں‬
‫ٰ‬ ‫ابراہیم اور‬ ‫‪The Scriptures of Abraham‬‬
‫ُف ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِهي َم َو ُمو َس ٰى(‪)۱۹‬‬
‫صح ِ‬
‫ُ‬
‫میں‬ ‫‪and Moses.‬‬
Translation of verse (14) Certainly has succeeded he one who purifies himself,

Translation of verse (15) And remembers the name of his lord and prays.

Translation of verse (16) Nay you prefer the life of the world.

Translation of verse (17) While the hereafter is better and everlasting

Translation of verse (18) Indeed this surely is in the scriptures.

Translation of verse (19) The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.

The one who purified himself, remembers the name of his lord and, prays has
.succeeded. The hereafter is better than this life and it is everlasting
