To Whom it may concern:

Steve Vincent is an exemplary student. I only met Steve in January of this year and he has

gone above and beyond to try and better himself not only as a musician in class, but as a human

being in general. Steve started band this past January on an instrument he had never played before

and there was never not a time I didn’t see him in that practice room practicing. His persistence to

get better on his instrument and willingness to learn genuinely impressed me as a band director. He

took ownership and took it upon himself to learn his instrument completely and not once did I ever

hear anything negative from him. Every time I would ask Steve for a favor, not once did he ever say

no or complain. He just immediately did it. He is always one of the first students here in the morning

for practice and sometimes even the last to leave the band room at the end of the day. Steve is

overall a one-of-a-kind student with a great attitude and anyone would be very lucky to have him as
