 Methods
• Preparation of orange peel powder
• Fermentation of rice water
• Preparation of face scrub
1.Weighed quantity of each ingredient was taken.
2.Orange peel powder, turmeric powder and Multani mitti were sieved by sieve of mesh size 30.
3. Orange peel powder, turmeric powder, Multani mitti, khus khus were taken and mixed thoroughly
in a mortar and mixed properly.
4.Then rice water, rose water and honey taken into another beaker. Mixed it properly. And other
ingredients were gradually added with good mixing.

5. Finally, product was packed in well closed plastic bags each containing 10 grams.

 Conclusion

The current work was done to prepare a herbal scrub using an appropriate base to form scrub. The
prepared scrub was evaluated using various parameters and was found to be satisfied with the
application on the skin to make it healthy and glowing without any side effects. Since orange peel
powder, turmeric powder, honey, fermented rice water, they are incorporated into the formulation
which increases the efficiency of the product.
