MEETING ROLE PLAYER – TIMER

Duties

1. As the timer, I keep track of time for each segment of the meeting.
2. I have three important tools for me to execute this duty. They are the stop watch, timing lights and
the bell.
3. In a 5 to 7 minutes speech, I will turn on the green light at the 5th minute of the speech, amber light
at the 6th minute of the speech and red light at the 7 th minute of the speech.
4. The speaker shall be given additional 30 seconds to end his/her speech. I will ring the bell at 7 minutes
30 seconds to indicate to the speaker that he/she should stop speaking.
5. I will record the time spent by each speaker and role player and present the report to you during my
Time Keeper Report session.
