Where can you find Video Builder in Google Ads?

There are two places where the Alpha of Video Builder can be found:

1 Campaign Flow Step 1 - Start a new campaign

 Step 2 - Select a campaign goal and Proprietary + Confidential

through the Labs tab

campaign type, make sure to
choose the video option

There are no restrictions or special campaign settings

that we require for this Video Builder Alpha
 Step 4 - In the “Create your video ad” section

within the campaign flow, launch Video Builder

Click here to launch

Video Builder.
Please note that a separate tab
with the tool will be opened in
your browser.
 Step 5 - Select a template that you’d like

 Step 6 - Start creating your video by Proprietary + Confidential

providing all required assets

Provide the HEX code(s) for your Brand colors

Provide your logos, images and text.

Make sure that the you follow the recommended specs
(ie. style, size, orientations, character count) for each

Choose your font from our Google Font library

Click “Create Video” once you’ve provided all assets

 Step 7 - Preview your video before Proprietary + Confidential

Once your video is generated

you’ll be able to preview it here
Choose what channel you’d like to
upload your video to
Note that in order to be able to upload to
“Your own channel”, your email account must
have owner or manager right to that YouTube
channel.

Click “Upload Video” if you are

satisfied with the video you’ve created
OR
Click “Edit Video” to go back and make
changes if needed
 Step 8 - Upload your video & close the tab Proprietary + Confidential

Known Bug - Some users are currently

experiencing longer than expected upload
times (5+ min). Our product team is already
working on this issue.

Save this URL or click on it so you can

easily share this video with others on
your team.
Remember - If you uploaded your video ad to “Your
video ad storage channel”, unless you share this exact
URL users won’t be able to find this video on YouTube
 Step 9 - Back in the campaign flow, choose the
Proprietary + Confidential

1 Campaign Flow
video you just created & create your campaign

In this drop down menu you’ll be

able to find all videos you’ve
generated using Video Builder

Select the video that you’d like

to use in your campaign

Where can you find Video Builder in Google Ads?

flow of the tool will be the

able to find all videos you’ve
generated using Video Builder

Select the video that you’d like

to use in your campaign
 For App & Local campaigns, use the URL provided Proprietary + Confidential
