COURSE POLICIES

A. Attendance
1. Students must attend the scheduled face to face classes and as well as the scheduled virtual
classes and accomplish requirements (activities). Incurred absences are referred for dropping
(handbook for students). In cases where attendance to face to face classes and virtual classes is
not possible due to unforeseen circumstances, the student should inform the course facilitator.
2. Students must follow the class schedule and must attend to class on time and complete the
required activities indicated in the course guide. Activities should be accomplished within the
time frame or schedule indicated.
3. Interaction and participation in class discussions is highly encouraged.
4. Proper grooming including appropriate background during virtual classes (synchronous
sessions) should be observed at all times.
5. Students must practice independence and utmost honesty in accomplishing all their designated
activities. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. When using data from other source/s, cite your
references properly.
 
 
B. Submission of Requirements
1. Submission of activities, examination papers and other requirements must be in accordance
with the deadlines given by the course facilitator. Submission through the school Google
Classroom/ Email is highly encouraged. Late submission of activities, examination papers and
other requirements without valid reason, will be given appropriate deduction as determined by
the course facilitator. Failure to comply with the requirements of the subject will incur an INC
mark in that particular grading period.
2. Students are encouraged to consult with their course facilitator according to the consultation
hours indicated in this Course Guide.
3. Students submitting late activities will have deduction.
 
 
C. Grading System
·         Class Standing- 60%
·         Examination: 40%
Computations
·         Prelim grade-60% CS + 40% Examination =PG
·         Midterm Grade- 60% CS  +  40% Examination= MG
·         Final Grade-60% CS  +  40% Examination=TFG
·         Average Final Grade= (PG+MG+TFG)/3
Activities and Printed Report Activity
NOTE:
1. Use long bond paper, Times New Roman font 12, margin: 1 inch (Left), 0.5 inch (Top,
Bottom, Right)
2. An activity paper or a group printed report that is submitted beyond the submission date shall
be automatically given a raw score of 40%.

Oral Report (40 points)


Organization of flow of presentation 5
Substantiality (inclusion of all the topics identified in this Course 20
Guide and substantiality of content) and clarity of presentation and

Printed Report (40 points)


Substantiality (inclusion of all the topics identified in this Course 20

Proper citation and referencing 10
Formatting; style in presenting content 5
