DISCUSSION

Based on the data, we can conclude that number of holes is inversely proportional to
the deflection. The value of e for C-channel section is 68.41 mm. The position of the shear
center for angle section is at hole 9 from the right-hand side where the value for the left-hand
side and right-hand side is zero. The shear center is having practical significant in study of
behavior of beams with section comprising of thin parts like angle section. The percentage
error for this experiment is 71%The shear center is used to know the position of shear center
where the point of a shear force can act without produce any twist in the section
