Mechanical Daily Report for the OEA Site 30/10/2022

Observations from the morning site walk round on the OEA site. Please note that we are aware that
works are incomplete and that they are still in progress so the below observations are intended to
assist the Contractor and to seek clarification:

1 General housekeeping. Please cover ends of all FCU’s where installation works are
not on-going.:

Fig 1: 3F HVAC

2 Unsupported flexible ducts (typical) are sagging and will likely rest on ceilings if not
supported. Also noted is the installation of plenum boxes for linear slot diffusers as
opposed to the specified louvre faced or swirl (OEA SOW pt 5.5 bullet points 5 and 6.
Please confirm the reason for deviation.

Fig 2: Unsupported flexible ductwork at 3rd floor and linear slot plenum

3 Pipe clamps are being prepared for supporting refrigerant pipe as opposed to the OEA
statement of work section 5.3.6 which states that refrigerant pipework shall generally
be installed on tray or within trunking. Please provide the recommended support
system from the equipment supplier LG to justify the use of clamps.

4 First floor AC units are not in the locations indicated on the IFC drawings. Ensure the final
location is reflected on the as built drawings. This applies to all floors
