The Andaman trip was a CAS trip for the school. This trip's scuba diving was one of
the most fascinating and thrilling experiences I've ever had. It was a huge hit for me.
Apart from the fact that I had
h ad previously done scuba diving, this time it assisted me in
growing even further and overcoming my fears. Since the instructors were still present
to lead the divers in the dive, a lot of preparation was required. It was a partnership
between myself and the instructor thatthat led us to go further than the others for the dive,
but also because I had some prior experience. There were magnificent animals down
there that I saw. It was very difficult to do it again because it is an
a n undeniably
dangerous yet enjoyable sport. I was asked not to contact any of the aquatic animals,
which I accepted because it was a matter of protection and it was also ethically
necessary to follow the instructions of a teacher with more experience than me. Some
people couldn't finish the dive because they werewere afraid, but I did so because it

• This CAS trip was fantastic, and I had a great time there. The scuba
diving experience was both enjoyable and demanding. Although
Although the
exercise was simple for me when I was younger, I felt very safe doing
it with my friends and the coaches. It was a lot of fun and a lot of
work, particularly because I was nervous about re-doing the activity
after such a long time. It was as though my mind was replaying
itself. The stunning corals and fish that swam by were both frightening
and thrilling. Spending time with nature was important for
understanding life under the surface. Despite having previously
completed the exercise, I calmly followed the guidelines and
completed a well-planned enjoyable dive.

spending the day with the students. Painting the walls and decorating
them, playing chess with the students, different types of sports and

Dignity Generations

given us a opportunity to go. it was an inter generational event which
meant we had perform along with elder people. we had a dance
competition, me and my 2 friends had joined me for this. i was
assigned a partner. we had to perform in an auditorium at Dadar

understand the thoughts and processes of older people and also
methods to bridge the generational gap.

Learning keyboard
• Learning keyboard is fun because not only it is challenging to learn
but also gives the calmness through in the
the form of songs. It requires a
lot of skills and commitment. The planning is the most important
aspect as we need to know all the basic tunes about it while playing.
Also it is more fun to play with a band like being surrounded with
drums, guitar, paino, keyboard, etc.
Reflection
• Although the process of learning it is quite slow over such a long period, I have come to really enjoy the
instrument. I have also become aware of my strength as being able to memorize things well, which is
very helpful in learning all of the notes that I need to know. A weakness that I have, though, is my
impatience sometimes with the process. Since there is such a long time between the lessons, it is easy to
forget what I was learning the previous week. A way I have overcome this is by quickly looking over
what I did everyday, so that I can remember it.
This is the first time that I am learning an instrument, so I can relate to the challenge of it being like
learning a new language.
I have shown perseverance because I have attended every lesson and commitment because I also try to
review/learn in my own free time.
The most prominent skill that I have developed is my actual keyboard playing. Another skill that I have
developed through these lessons is reviewing work everyday, in order to remember it clearly as well as
the "theory" or not practical part of playing the piano, so knowing all of the notes, keys, etc.
Overall this is definitely an activity I want to carry on because it is something completely new to me and
is definitely one of the most interesting on my list.
