names, designation and place of domicile of the persons appointed
in the Ministry of Housing and its attached departments from
August 2018 till date?
Chaudhary Tariq Bashir Cheema: Main Ministry
26 Officials were appointed from August, 2018 to till date. The
name, designation and place of domicile is at Annex-I.

Pak PWD
Four Hundred Sixty-One (461) employees were appointed from
August, 2018 to till date. The details of name, designation and place of
domicile of Pak PWD as per subject question is at Annex II.
Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA)
The names, designation and place of domicile of the persons
appointed in the FGE Housing Authority from August, 2018 till date is at
Annex-III.
National Construction Limited (NCL)
No appointments had been made in National Construction Limited
(NCL) from August, 2018 to till date.

Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF)

56 Employees were appointed in PHAF. The details of name,
designation and place of domicile of PHAF as per subject question is at
Annex-IV.
Estate Office
123 Employees were appointed in Estate Office. The details of
name, designation and place of domicile of Estate Office as per subject
question is at Annex-V.

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state the
details of employees who died during service during the last ten
years indicating date of deaths, the number of plots and marriage
grants received by the widows of the deceased employees under the
Prime Minister’s package?
Chaudhary Tariq Bashir Cheema: Main Ministry
06 Officers/ Officials of Ministry of Housing & Works died during
service during last 10 years. The details of which is at Annex-I.
Pak PWD
321 employees of Pak PWD died during service. The details of
compensation granted to Pak PWD employees an at Annex-II.
Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA)
4. The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation
(now Authority) has allotted 42 plots to employees of other
Ministries/Divisions/Departments under the Prime Minister
Package. The detail of which is at Annex-III.

5. It is also to mention here that neither employee of Ministry of

Housing & Works nor employee of FGE Housing Authority
has been allotted plot under Prime Minister’s Assistance
Package so far.

6. Further, the FGEHA has not paid any amount on account of

marriage grant to its employees.
National Construction Limited (NCL)
None of the employees/family of National Construction Limited
(NCL) availed any assistance under the Prime Minister’s package during
the last ten years.
Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF)

There are only two employees of PHAF, who availed assistance

under Prime Minister Package. The detail of which is at Annex-IV.

Estate Office

There are 10 employees of Estate Office, who died during service.

Will the Minister Incharge of the Aviation Division be pleased to
state whether it is a fact that PIA has recently closed its booking
office in Hyderabad, if so, reasons thereof indicating tentative date
of re-opening thereof?
Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan: Yes, PIA has closed its booking
office in Hyderabad since 30th April, 2021.
In accordance with the PIA restructuring plan and in pursuit of
organization cost cutting strategy, rationalization of domestic station
network was evaluated. Management decided on commercial grounds to
close PIA offline booking offices like Hyderabad for cost cutting and HR
rationalization purpose. As part of PIA restructuring plan; currently, there
is no plan for re-opening of PIA Hyderabad Booking office in near future.

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state

whether there is any proposal under consideration of the FGEHA
to lunch a housing scheme for Federal Government Employees in
Tehsil Gwadar of Balochistan province, if so, the time line thereof?

Chaudhary Tariq Bashir Cheema:  FGE Housing Authority

signed MOU with Government of Balochistan on 30-6-2020, wherein
Government of Balochistan was to provide land in Gwadar and Quetta
districts for housing projects.

 The Government of Balochistan failed to provide the land.

Therefore, the project was dropped.

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state

whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Federal
Government Employees Housing Foundation to acquire green belt
land for tree plantation between G-12 and G-13, G-14 and F-14
and G-12 and F-12 in Islamabad, if so, the tentative deadline for
acquisition of land and plantation of trees thereon?

Chaudhary Tariq Bashir Cheema: All land of a sector is

acquired, as a whole, according to law and after the acquisition of
complete sector, areas are divided into green belts, plots and commercial
areas etc. The green belts mentioned in the said question are already
acquired but the possession and payments are underway. The FGEHA
carried out massive springs & monsoon plantation drives during Financial
Year 2020-2021 between G-13 & G-14 green belt, all available areas
between G-12 & G-13, sector G-14, and F-13 green belts. Moreover,
thousands of different kinds of trees have been planted in developed parks,
green belts and Verges/Medians of Sectors G-13 Islamabad.
