2. In the three-reservoir system, water flowing from A is pumped through the pump. Flow
rate is required to be 0.1 m3/s in the pipe CD. Determine the required power supplied by
pump. Draw energy grade line.

3. Reservoir A is feeding reservoirs B and C by a pump and pipe system. The discharge to
reservoir C is Q2 = 0.10 m3/s. If the efficient coefficient of the pump is η = 0.70 n, what
will be required power of pump? Draw the energy line of the system.
