ASM401 – FUNDAMENTALS OF BUSINESS

GROUP PROJECT (30%)

The group project is based on current topics to reflect the current thinking in the areas of
concept of ethics and corporate social responsibilities in business environment as viewed
from the office manager’s perspective. The project will be graded on originality, depth
(efforts), understanding and analyzing the selected issue. It is highly recommended that the
group report to be done in teams of 3 – 4 students. Teams need to prepare a report and a 20-
minute video presentation based on the requirements below:

Select ONE (1) organization that practising corporate social responsibility and analyze its:

I) Core principles and organizational values

II) Stakeholders of the organizations
III) Areas of social responsibility
IV) Approach to social responsibility programs
V) Corporate social responsibility programs
VI) Social responsibility management

You need to discuss those areas thoroughly and provide examples done by the organization.
The report must contain:

a) Cover Page
b) Table of Contents
c) Acknowledgements
d) Executive Summary
e) Background of Organization (limit to 1 page only)
f) Discussions (Item I – VI)
g) Conclusions
h) References (minimum 5 APA style references)
i) Appendices
 Online Interview Permission Letter signed by TDA with authorized signature and
company stamp (compulsory)
 Online interview invitation through email (compulsory)
 Interview questions (compulsory)
 Documentation and Presentation Rubrics (compulsory)
 Similarity Report <30% (compulsory)
 Photographs, articles/newspaper prints – if any
