Technology experts have come to believe that the enhanced dependence on computer systems
and their increasing autonomy may prove to be disastrous for humanity in the years to come.
However, this prediction does not seem to be materializing soon as half of the world is involved
in the net of code-driven technology and the impact on human life, health care, industry
operations, military, and almost everything in between has been positive. Considering the rising
curve of dependence on these man-made tools, a viable future can be carved in this field and
contributions can be made towards the enhancement of human capacity and empowerment. This
is one of the many reasons I have chosen the field of computer science as my field of education.
I believe when one is intrinsically motivated for a cause or an aim, then toiling for it not only
becomes easier but also greatly fulfilling. I am amongst the few lucky people who realize their
true calling and métier early in life. I have always been attracted by things in numerical forms
and feel at ease playing with digits and mathematical functions. . Having aced the subject of
mathematics throughout my academic career, I materialized my aptitude towards it and firmly
made up my mind to choose the field of software engineering. NED which is considered the
pioneer and a major contributor to the country’s top force of engineers in Pakistan has been
instrumental for me in activating the fundamental competencies related to software engineering
and clarified my roadmap for the future. I graduated from the university with a decent GP of 2.7
and stepped into professional life by joining a local manufacturing company. I started at a basic
level and slowly progressed to the post of manager in another reputable technology solutions
company. My journey from a basic level employee to the post of manager in the matter of a few
years taught me significantly about professional life, its ethics, and the art of communication
skills. Additionally, I volunteered at Cloud Next by GDC Kolachi and have been closely
associated with NEDMUN 4 both of which have bolstered my interpersonal and intrapersonal
skills giving me a proactive outlook towards life.
Alongside the academic and professional pursuits, I nurtured another zest and invested time in
playing basketball, tenniss, and especially football. My mathematical side, driven by logic and
steadiness, found recluse in the sports of football. With its rigorous nature and impulsive
decision-making, it imbued a balance to my personality and also gave me an outlet to channelize
my surplus strength.
TU Clausthal is the ultimate choice and aspiration of every student who wants to gain a world-
class education. The advanced infrastructure and carefully integrated curriculum at the
university, juxtaposed to a research-based teaching and learning style is the most anyone can
want. The interdisciplinary course is designed keeping in mind the need of the future digitized
world while catering to the knowledge needs of the present graduates. This eye on the future is
what has earned the university its reputation for being the alumni of some of the most prominent
and successful computer engineers and data scientists. All this hi-tech technological academic
while nestled in the lap of natural scenery is what doubly augments the appeal of the university
for me. I believe that the choice of location
for TU Clausthal has been very thoughtfully made. Being in the proximity of an unadulterated
setting can inspire the dwellers to make judgments that can benefit humanity and help preserve
the natural arrangement of the civilization. In addition to all the above reasons, my passion for
the sports of football is sure to find me a place in the university’s top-ranking football team. I am
positive that I will add tremendously to the sports scene in this way and prove myself valuable.
A degree in data engineering from the world’s superior university will not only be a source of
pride and honor for me but will propel me further ahead in my professional pursuits. With a
strong knowledge base and even stronger practical training and applied scientific foundations,
the job market will be just a step away from me. Especially considering the rise in need for
skilled data scientists due to the expanding network of internet facilities to the remote parts of the
world, I believe I can cave my place in the competitive market. Additionally, international
organizations and employers give significant weight to the applicant’s alumnus when hiring
employees. The name of TU Clausthal will benefit me largely in this regard. I see myself as a
skilled and successful data analyst in a multinational company in the years to come. Alongside
this, I want to keep in touch with academics and plan to continue a higher education degree in a
subsidiary field of data sciences. This elevated academic pedestal will enable me to play my part
in the collective betterment and advancement of science and technology.
In the end, I would like to thank the committee for considering my application and giving me a
chance to share my journey and future aspirations with them.
