platform (297x420mm) – scale to fit

medium/material to use
3. The model will be graded based on
the following:
• 25% Strength – durability of the
model, composition of the model,
materials used
• 25% Aesthetics – neatness, the
total package of the model
• 30% Function – based on the
overall presentation
• 20% Team Efforts – Individual effort
(score will be given by the leader)
4. A group should consit of 10-11
students only
• Group 1 – CABLE & TENSILE STRUCTURES
• Group 2 – MEMBRANE STRUCTURES
• Group 3 – SHELL STRUCTURES
• Group 4 – GEODESIC STRUCTURES
1. Create a miniature model of your designated topic
2. Research on the definition and pros & cons of the different types of complex/space
frame structures. Provide actual projects examples that utilize the said system.
3. Select a specific function for your model and create the following plans:
a) Site Description
b) Floor Plan & Site Development Plan
c) 4 Elevations & 2 Sections
d) Perspective (Eye level from the site entry)
4. To be presented on the submission date
