OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this ASL project is to discuss how the
facebook has affected the social life of people in various way.
Availability on mobile devices facebook allows users to
continuously stay in touch with friends and relatives .On the
other hand it causes many other problems.

ACTION PLAN

The topic we have selected for ASL is ‘IS FACEBOOK A FAKEBOOK’

The first step in understanding the course is by reading all the contents that
we collected .It contains both the good and dark side of facebook.
Second step involves the survey which has been prepared through google
form to get all the public response.

INTRODUCTION

Globally, there are signs that posts on Facebook offer more truth to some
people than news from reputable journalists and newspapers. Journalists can
be influenced, bribed, and, according to these people, could have a political
interest. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he doesn't want to impose
censorship on users. He/she can post whatever he/she wants. Unfortunately,
it is also the case that many posts, advertisements, and accounts of ordinary
users are removed without hesitation or consultation.
MATERIAL EVIDENCE
REPORT

Facebook became increasingly popular among young people because it

was a way for them to show who they were and what their hobbies and
interests are. This made it easy to find like-minded "friends" and form an
online group of friends. With the rise of and awareness about Fake news,
Facebook is facing the biggest dilemma ever. Something that hadn't
been taken into account beforehand and even the smartest people on
earth doesn't know what to do with. Facebook has become a Fakebook
because it is a stage for any fool who thinks he has the right to the truth.
That in itself wouldn't be so bad if the user didn't think Facebook was a
news site. Facebook never started to become a news site, it didn't want
to go there, and it should never take on that role. This also means that
you can't say that one article is fake news, and the other is not. If you
really want to maintain your neutral role as a platform, you should ban
what is not allowed by law and then make it clear to all posts that it is
only an opinion of the sender and that the content has not been verified.

GROUP REFLECTION

This project has been chosen for project as a part of self-awareness of

the youth and the people. Realizing how much the usage of facebook
affects the adolescents, youth and adults in both good and bad ways. It
helps you realize what is right and what is wrong.

Making the effect to do so can dramatically improve your online

experience and reduce the influence fake news may have on you. With
the help of google forms and personally conducted surveys, we have got
the idea of general perception of how much people are using facebook
without even knowing cons of it. We are happy to inform that we had
amazing responses from family, friends and acquaintances.
