Process in WMS

Application: Warehouse Management

Process: Pick Release Internal Orders for Picking, Task Dispatching and Task Monitoring Process.
Objectives: This document shows
1. Pick Release Process in Warehouse Management.
2. Task Dispatching and Task Monitoring Process in Warehouse Management.
Prerequisites:

 Pick Release Internal Sales Order from Desktop in Warehouse Management.

Navigate to: Order Management Responsibility->Shipping>Release Sales Orders>Release Sales Orders

Following window will appear.

Process in WMS

Note: - Auto Pick Confirm should always be selected as “NO” under Shipping Tab in WMS enabled
organization in release sales orders window.

Concurrent: - Press concurrent to process internal orders for pick release.(i.e.for creating move order)

After Pressing Concurrent Tab, “Pick slip Report” Shall get generated. Note down the pick slip Number.

 Task Dispatching and Task Monitoring Process through Desktop in Warehouse Management .

After internal orders have been pick released (i.e. After Move order have been prepared and allocated)
through above mentioned steps, Manger can assign and monitor progress of generated tasks of released
internal orders through Warehouse Control Board.

Navigate To: - Warehouse Manager->Inquiry->Warehouse Control Board

Following query window will appear

Query:
Select “Internal Sales Order Task” from List of Value.

Press Tab “Outbound”, Following screen shall appear

Under Order Region:-

Pick Slip :-
Enter Pick Slip Number which have been noted as above.

Press Find , following window will appear.

Status Order and Item Code
No

Press Manage Tab to Assign the task to Picker for transfering the goods from Asset Subinventory to Staged
Subinventory:-

Following window shall appear.

Under the Update Region:

Status:-Select status as Queued to assign task picker.

Employee:-select name of the picker to whom task needs to be assigned

Press “Execute now” and task status will be updated as below:
