Garden Club Event 2021 Table Decorations Each club member will be in “charge” of decorating ONE table. The theme will be a song. You may ‘choose from the list provided, or come up with your own song. But you MUST let us know if you choose song NOT on the list. We don't want to have duplicate songs/themes. Rules: 1. The centerpiece must fit on a 10” doily in the center of the table. NO WIDER THAN 10 INCHES! 2. The centerpiece must NOT be taller than 12°. We want folks to be able to talk without leaning around or looking over the centerpiece. 3. The centerpiece must convey the meaning or title of the song, That's it! Those are all the rules! You have all Summer (and maybe Fall) to develop your idea. Use your friends, family and neighbors for ideas. Be creative. Use stuff you have at home. Go to the Dollar Store for cheap gadgets. Get your husband or neighbor to build something. It just needs to fit on a 10” doily and not be taller than 12°. Incorporate flowers. Ornot. Use stuffed animals, dolls, miniature toys, trucks, LEGO's, whatever! Let your imagination take over. Every table will be different. And we hope this will be a conversation piece at the table. We're considering prizes if the table can “Name That Tune” of the centerpiece. To be decided! Well assign table numbers closer to the event, maybe by drawing numbers out of a hat. Don't stress! You have lots of time (and resources) to complete your masterpiece centerpiece!
