WRITING
1. Pir-Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University:

In the vision and mission of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University:

 The vision and mission portion both are submerged and there is no clear margin
between both Vision and Mission. Moreover, the things are not to the point.
 The color contrasts in the reading is well balanced because the theme of the reading
is green and it is convenient for the reader to read easily.
 There is use of visual illustration which helps to understand the relevant sector of
which this university belongs to i.e. agriculture.
2. Institute of Science and Technology University:

In the vision and mission of Institute of science and technology university:

 We can see that there is a long paragraph which is mentioned the vision which
makes it difficult for the reader to understand properly it contains difficult terms
which might be difficult for the reader to understand.
 Both vision mission portion are submerged and there is no clear margin between
both vision and Mission moreover the things are not to the point. There was no
use of visual illustration which might help to understand the relevant sector of
which this university belongs to i.e. science and technology.
3. Nambia University of Science and Technology:

In the vision and mission of Nambia university of science and technology:

 We can see that there are very short and precise reading which makes it easy for
the reader to understand the context of the writing.
 Both vision mission portion are separately written and there is a clear margin
between both vision and mission.
 There was no use of visual illustration which might help to understand the relevant
sector of which this university belongs to i.e. science and technology.
4. University of Central Punjab:

In the vision and mission of University of Central Punjab:

 The short and precise sentences make it easy for the reader to understand the
context of the writing.
 The line spacing between the lines is 1.5 which is ideal.
 Both vision mission portion are separately written and there is a clear margin
between both vision and Mission.
 The background theme is the most important part of this writing because it
captures the interest of its reader as the color combination appealing.
5. The University of Western Australia:

The university’s website demonstrates:

 The brief information on their goals and objectives and what they aim for.
 Distinguishing between both the points by making them highlighted and the put a
line under it to draw reader’s attention into it.
6. New York University:

 This website used different color scheme to make it catchy for the reader and
attractive to read.
 They kept their headings different by using large fonts and making them
prominent for the reader to reach to the content.
 There is proper spacing and font size is enough that a person can easily read what
is written.
7. Western Virginia University:

 They used illustration along with the heading to make it more appealing with color
combination of white over black.
 They chose font which is large enough to read but the problem that is encountered
here is that line spacing in paragraph wasn’t enough. It puts stress on eyes while
reading it.
8. University of Maryland Baltimore County:

 Both headings were distinguished and they provided sufficient details for the
reader and it is easy for the reader to understand it.
 It has clarity in the sentences and the main agenda or point was highlighted with
purple color to draw reader’s attention directly to it.
9. University of Texas at Austin:

For mission and vision:

 They merged both the missions and values heading together.


 They are submerged and there is no clear margin between both Vision and Mission
moreover the things are not to the point.
 The color contrasts in the reading is well balanced. They also highlighted the
important point where they wanted to draw the reader’s attention.
10. Riphah International University:

 Color contrast is very attractive and they combined both the mission and values in
the same paragraph.
 Use of bullet points in the content that made it quite clear and readable for the
reader. The vision in the content is highlighted by the purple color that makes it
distinguished from the rest of the text.
11. Laurier University:

 They had standard line spacing in the paragraph and both vision and mission is
distinguished by separate headings and different colors with large font that makes
it easy for the reader to get the information according to desire on specific topic.
 The vision could have been described better by using bullets instead of a paragraph.
12. Adelphi University:
 Color gradients are appealing as they attract the reader and the page is oriented in
such a way which doesn’t gives any frustration to the reader.
 The mission statement is highlighted in the page that makes it prominent for the
reader to easily go through it.
 There is proper line spacing and the page looks pleasant to read and find any
information on it.
13. UMT - University of Management and Technology:
Facts and figures are included so it’s a partial concrete statement:
 Language level, typing and grammar is correct and understandable.
 Message lacks call to action as it doesn’t properly show achievements of
university and their up to date achievements.
 Paragraphs are long as they should be and not too clumsy to make reader think
twice.
14. Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad:

 Both vision and mission are concise and explained well in bullets.
 Facts and figures are included so it’s a concrete statement.
 Message has call to action as it properly shows achievements of university and
their up to date achievements.
15. International Islamic University

 Both vision and mission are concise and to the point as well.
 Facts and figures are explained well as they are working in fields of social sciences
and technology.
 Language level, typing and grammar is correct and understandable.
16. The University of British Columbia

 Language level, typing and grammar is correct and understandable but they lack
facts and figures to defend their moto.
 Message lacks call to action as it doesn’t properly show achievements of
university and their up to date achievements.
 Message is tactful, polite and well capturing as it is the front face of university.
 The message is brief as it should be and explains their moto as well.
17. Canada College

 Both vision and mission are concise and to the point as well.
 Facts and figures are missing so it’s not a concrete statement.
 Language level, typing and grammar is correct and understandable but they lack
facts and figures to defend their moto.
 Paragraphs are short as they should be and not too clumsy to make reader think
twice.
18. German University in Cairo

Facts and figures are explained well as they are working in fields of human resources
and technology.

 Language level, typing and grammar is correct and understandable.


 If vision and mission are correlated they make sense because they have
emphasized on their moto to promote training on top notch tech.
 Message is tactful, polite and well capturing as it is the front face of university.
 The message is brief as it should be and explains their purpose.
 Paragraphs are moderate and define the purpose well.
