NORTH ZONAL
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
2018

INTRODUCTION
As a result of the workshop study, the group in which I developed this project was defined, The
area was proposed to be transformed as a new urban center, answering to a potential growth
and potential of development after the transfer of the International Airport "Mariscal Sucre" to
the outskirts of the city, the creation of the Multimodal Station "El Labrador" corresponding to
the subway system of Quito and the implementation of the city of the "Metropolitan Park
Bicentennial", who replaces the old airport. To transform it into a civic/cultural center that
promotes cultural diversity and the attention of civic and public needs of the citizens.

ARCHITECTURE
A connection with the existing building is

generated by means of a programmatic
bridge to allow an urban passage on the
first floor and generate permeability.
The existing building will be incorporated
into the project to be implemented as a
completion of the premises.

The patio in its conception serves as an element of articulation since around it are the activities that are developed across each single program

and also set up the project in such a way that the climatic conditions benefit and do not affect its internal conditions, thus taking advantage of the
climatic conditions and not requiring the use of mechanic ventilation..
