Introduction
Being unable to read and write is not good for a person specially
when living this world by yourself. One of the essentials or needs to
live this world especially this 21st century every individual must able
to read and write, because we are now on the technology era which
every individual must able to read and write. It can affect an
individual if he or she cannot write or read because 21st century is
more on technologies that requires a person to read in order to use it.
A reason of an individual who does not know how to read and write
are those who did not finished school because of lack of supports
from his/her family, because of poverty and being lazy when they
were given a chance to go to school.

These will become a hindrance for them to step closer to a


success for them in order to live their life to the fullest. So every
individual should have another chance to learn how to read and write
specially the basics for them to get educated and gain more
knowledge to continue to reach their goals in life. Age doesn’t matter
when it becomes on learning.
This aims to help the client to learn how to read and write.

Problem

I choose this client because he is one of our family now. Due to


lack of supports of his family he didn’t finished even elementary level
of education. Because of being unable to read and write some
people take advantage of that and some others bully him for that.
Because sometimes he has the side of being childish.

Solution

Based from my research person with APD can develop and


outgrow this problem by natural gradual maturation. But despite
of that I helped him to get rid of this problem using this procedures
and treatment

Beginning to let him write his


Teach him to determine the own name and read it and then
sounds of every alphabet for him when he mastered it we will give
to recognize those letters and to him different kinds of word that
know how to pronounced it can help him to improve

Upon using the 3 different procedures, I came up with this
outcome and I categorize it into 2 depends if he improves, slightly
improve or doesn’t improve from that area.

Based from the findings and my observation, in the first day in


doing his procedure I notice and observed that he does not really
know how to read and write. After repeating those treatment and
procedure as we continue the session he is slightly improving and
know how to read but still writing his name is difficult for him. Bye
this repetition that I made on improving his skills in reading and
writing he now manage to read and write basic words one by one
and rooting for him to improve more until he can fully know how to
read and write.
Recommendation

I recommend this to him to practice every day because he is really


improving in every session. He must have the determination to learn
in order for him to become better to reach his own goals. Age doesn’t
matter when it becomes to learning.
