1.

mirror- an object that reflects an image

lens- A lens is a piece of transparent glass which concentrates or disperses light
rays when passes through them by refraction. Due to the magnifying property, lenses
are used in telescopes and other magnifying devices.

2. example of mirror - the mirror in our bathrooms, makeup mirror, side mirror of
vehicles, concave and convex mirror (curved mirror)
example of lens- camera lens,

3. difference between mirror and lens- mirror - reflective, lens - refractive

4. different types of mirrors- plane, curved mirror (concave and convex)

5. how are the images reflected by plane mirrors- when light waves hit a plane
mirror, they bounce off of the mirror at the same angle that they hit the mirror.
This means that the reflected image will be a mirror image of the original object.

6. how are images reflected by curved mirrors (convex and concave)-

convex- the image is smaller
concave- the image appears larger
examples- metal spoon, makeup mirror
