-What is the Law of Reflection?

The law of reflection is the principle that when a ray of light hits a surface, the
ray of light will reflect off the surface at the same angle as it hit the surface.
The angle of incidence is the angle at which the ray of light hits the surface, and
the angle of reflection is the angle at which the ray of light reflects off the
surface.

-Explain Total Internal Reflection

total internal reflection, in physics, complete reflection of a ray of light within
a medium such as water or glass from the surrounding surfaces back into the medium.
The phenomenon occurs if the angle of incidence is greater than a certain limiting
angle, called the critical angle.

-What are the four principal rays of curved mirror?

P-F Ray (concave mirror)

A ray of light parallel to the principal axis is reflected passing through the
principal focus

F-P Ray (concave mirror)

A ray of light passing through the focus, F is reflected to the principal axis

C-C Ray (concave mirror)

Ray of light passing through the center of curvature, C reflects back along its own
path

V Ray (concave mirror)

A ray of light directed to the vertex reflects at equal angle from the principal
axis

-Difference between Regular reflection and Diffused reflection

Regular reflection occurs at the surface of a plane surface like a plane mirror.
Reflected rays after regular reflection are parallel. Diffused reflection occurs at
the surface of a rough surface like cardboard.
