CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS AND BREIFING OF THE
GREATER KARACHI BULK WATER SUPPLY SCHEME K-IV
PROJECT PHASE I (260 MGD) PROJECT, KARACHI

The Estimate to amounting Rs. 320,000/- has been framed in the office of Chief
Engineer/PD K-IV WAPDA Karachi to meet the probable expenditure to be incurred for
Hiring Media Service for recoding audio and video production of ground breaking
ceremony and latest construction progress and briefing of K-IV Project Phase I (260
MGD) Project, on 6-7-2022 at Thatta.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
WAPDA has been assigned execution of the Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme
under sponsorship of Ministry of Water Resources vide Administrative Approval Dated:
09-04-2021.

It is highlighted that Project Management Office at Karsaz has been handed over to
WAPDA wherein Chief Engineer/PD Office has been established and Consultants have
mobilized after signing of Contract on 08-07-2021.

The Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif will visit Project site at Thatta
to perform Ground Breaking Ceremony of K-IV Project Phase I (260 MGD) on 06-07-
2022.

A Brief video documentary of construction Progress and brief on this project will be
recorded for this event. For this purpose, the Production Service Provider is required to
be hired for videography on K-IV Project Phase I (260 MGD)

Accordingly, as per instructions by CE/PD K-IV, the Estimate amounting to Rs. 320,000/-
has been framed.
