Contractor brief that due to the land blockage, they are unable to Info

ii. Contractor brief that during the dialogue with affected land STATUS DDSB
owners, they receive complains that the center line pegging QUO
are to close to some cemetery area. Due to that complain,
contractor had carried out joint survey works with RE and
supervision team and found out some graveyard at Bedegum,
Bangkit & Sengkabang Cemetery fall inside perimeter road
boundary at approximately CH7+100, CH7+340 and at
CH16+640. However, that survey work was done using GPS
survey equipment. Contractor is advised to redo the survey
work with standard/regular survey equipment to get more
accurate survey data.
iii. The survey verification report and drawings shall be endorsed
by Licensed surveyor and submit to SO for record purpose. DDSB
iv. Setting out for ROW, bench marks, control pegs and etc shall
be carried out by a Licensed Surveyor. DDSB
5.5 Crop Counting and Compensation
I. Mr. Sagu, the Superintendent L&S Kapit Brief that:
a. They have completed the Survey work for 1st 2KM, from Info/L&S
CH12+000 to CH14+000. He also briefed that 7 out of 17
landowners blocked the contractor from doing any site
clearing works. They insisted that the land and crops must
be compensated first before work can be carried out. L&S
Kapit are in process of preparing the compensation cheque
and expected to deliver the compensation cheque within
next week.
b. The balance of 19.6KM land acquisition survey & crop
counting will be carried out by the two appointed licensed L&S
surveyors:
Makut A - CH0+000 to CH10+700 is under Juru
Survei Konsult. They had completed the survey
work for ROW and they did discover the road
alignment encroach three graveyards. JPW to do
the realignment and submit to L&S Kapit for ROW
resurvey work. Investigation work is currently in
progress (to determine the landowner, size of
individual land and crops). L&S Kapit will notify the
Contractor once the ROW & Investigation survey
work completed.

Mr. Sagu suggest that SO needs to attend any future dialogue as Info
some landowners were reluctant to let the contractor to start work
before being compensated.
i. Contractor brief that they have started the site clearing work for Info/L&S/
only a few days before being stop by the land owners. They DDSB
insisted the crop compensation must be done first before
contractor can enter their land. – Status quo as per 7th August
2020.
5.8 Shifting / Relocation of Utilities
Contractor is to submit borrow pits (if any), sand material and dumping Status Info

I. Contractor to invite their EIA consultant to attend the next site DDSB
meeting.
II. Contractor informed that they have submitted the EMP to the Info
NREB for approval. Pending approval by NREB.
III. Contractor informed that their EIA consultant has carried out Info
sampling work on site for their EMR.
IV. Contractor informed that their Early Commencement of Work Info
(ECW) has been approved by NREB and has been forwarded to
JPW
V. Chairman inform that EIA report has been given to the contractor Info
on 30 June 2020
i. Chairman inform contractor to submit their HSE Plan and STATUS DDSB
HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk QUO
Control)
ii. Contractor informed that their DOSH registration has been Info
approved and forwarded to JPW.
iii. Contractor is required to submit Temporary Traffic Management STATUS DDSB/info
Plan for approval. Status quo as at 7 July 2020. QUO

i. Contractor informed that they have submitted their proposed STATUS Info
Bailey Bridge supplier for approval. Contractor to submit Bailey QUO
Bridge design & material properties for approval. – Technical
discussion is on-going with design consultant as per 7th August
2020.
ii. Contractor informed that their surveyor team could not find any Info/DDSB
Temporary Benchmark (TBM) that have been installed along
the road alignment. They believe the TBM was done by private
license surveyor, Resources Surveys Services, hired by SO.
Contractor requested for that TBM data and Chairman inform
them to write in to SO.
